New SUPERSENSE Picture Disc Edition – Nina Simone.

SUPERSENSE people, celebrating the 90th birthday of Nina Simone, we herewith have the true pleasure to officially launch a very special new MASTERCUT EDITION today, carefully developed in our Vienna manufactory over the past months…

THE MASTERCUT PICTURE DISC EDITION
It all started with the question of how to combine the wonderful iconic feature of a picture disc with the highest sound quality achievable.
In the classic process of pressing picture vinyl records, the fancy looks unfortunately goes hand in hand with a lower sound quality.
Our clear goal for this edition was to really PUT A SPELL ON YOU with the celebration of the best looking AND best sounding music record ever.

We finally achieved this goal with the strategy to turn the A side of our Japanese lacquer discs into a handcrafted piece of glossy shining screenprint art and by cutting just one song onto the B side in 45 rpm, using only the outer portion of the disc’s surface.
As a result our first PICTURE DISC EDITION is the best looking but also the best sounding MASTERCUT record ever produced!!
Be among the first collectors to spoil your senses with the crisp sound, the stunning looks and the elegant handling of this truly tri-sensual piece of art and craftsmanship.

Looking at the magic beauty of our new PICTURE DISC invention, it feels impossibly wasteful to hide these treasures in their edition packages, beautiful as these may be.
Thinking about alternative ways to carefully protect our PICTURE MASTERCUTS and at the same time have it handy and last but not least celebrate it as a true piece of art, we called our friends from Halbe Rahmen and together we created a perfect ART COMBO.

In our humble opinion, since the invention of gold and platinum records garnishing the homes of the stars, music records have never been held in such high regard as pieces of visual art.

We very much hope you might agree.
